Welcome to the roundtable web site. This site is aimed
at providing information to both leaders and service team
personnel. It provides information about each months

NEW RESOURCES FOR VOLUNTEERS IN
2008-2009!
In an effort to provide Girl Scouts of
Western Ohio volunteers with clear and timely communication as well
as additional program support, we have introduced the following
resources for your use in 2008-09:
Resource Sheet
will provide the latest updates and opportunities for girls and
adults and will be regional specific. The Resource Highlights &
Announcements Sheet will be distributed each month at the service
unit manager roundtable meeting and will be available for all adult
volunteers at each service unit monthly leader meeting.
Parents Guide an introduction to Girl Scouting and Girl
Scouts of Western Ohio for parents and volunteers. This was included
for distribution at Kick-Off to all parents in both new and existing
troops.
Volunteer Resource Guide (disc) this is the resource for
volunteers containing all policies, procedures, and information for
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. In addition, there are adult
development opportunities including lists of all the required
trainings and enrichments and program opportunities - both
council-sponsored and community-sponsored - to choose from.
Take the Lead
this resource is specifically designed to highlight elements of the
Girl Scout program and provide helpful tips and information for all
volunteers to use in implementing program activities for girls. This
is a monthly publication that will be distributed by service unit
managers at monthly leader meetings. To view each month's Take

Service Learning Brochure supports one of our 2008-09
council program priorities Girls will learn about the needs of
their community and take action through community service this
brochure introduces the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio community
service projects for 2008-09, describes service learning, and
provides tips for leaders on how to get their girls involved.
A reminder for the 2009 membership year - volunteers will continue
to have more information on demand with the following technology
resources:

Roundtable Website: Choose
the information you want when you want. Roundtable materials
will be available online where you can download what you want
and, in some cases, fill in a form or register for an event
right there on the web. (A limited quantity of the paper version
of roundtable materials will be still be available through your
service unit for Girl Scout volunteers who do not have access to
a computer and the Internet.)

the most up-to-date information on program opportunities,
trainings, the cookie sale, and everything Girl Scouts, as well
as reminders about roundtable materials by signing up for the
